Santorini (officially Thira) is a Greek Island in the Aegean Sea. It belongs to a group of islands called the Cyclades.
Whenever somebody mentions the word ‘Santorini’, you can hear just: awwww, ohhhhh, wooow, oh my God, breahtaking, dazzling, my dream! Well… these are all the right expresions π Santorini is a typical head-turner.
There are few places in the world that are beyond beautiful and photos never lie. They are unique, divine, extraordinary, charming, magnificent, yet famous and instantly recognisable all around the world. Santorini is definitely one of them.
Whitewashed buildings, blue-domed churches, volcanic caldera, spectacular high cliffs on one side, sandy beaches on the other side, romantic sunsets, breathtaking panoramas- that’s a short description of this fabulous island.
There is no point writing more about Santorini… photos speak for themselves.
Enjoy! π
Cheers! π

Santorini looks amazing! I think you cannot go wrong with a vacation to this island. I have actually only traveled to Greece to Athens, but not to the islands, which are some of the best things about Greece. Hopefully this year we will make it!
Here is my travel blog as well:

Hello New Yorker π
It was really magnificent place. If you haven’t been there, I’m sure you will visit it soon π

Marlena! π I am hardly a New Yorker but yes I am keen on making our way to Greece soon! It is the one country we have missed out on and I wonder why xx

I get a feeling you are becoming quite a well-settled New Yorker π π and I’m sure you will visit Greece- sooner or later. xx

I live in New Jersey. So a New Yorker might raise brows at that. You know about the essential snootiness of the New Yorker and all that π xx

New Jersey you say…. π Sounds even more interesting π My husband’s very close family live there. It’s much ‘pleasent’ and peaceful to live there in comparison to New York.

Yes darling. I am sure they would be in Jersey City. We are in a little town called Bayonne, a bit removed from Jersey City, and fairly suburban. I quite like it because my apartment sits opposite a big park and the waterfront.

As far as I’m aware, they live in New Jersey state, half-way to Philadelphia. I believe you are much closer to NY π Wow, and big park and waterfront! You found the perfect place π

Ah I see. In the suburbs too. It is a good idea to get away from the city.
I am close to NY. What we now need is a car. Everything seems spread out over a considerable distance. And however I love walking, walking ain’t getting me far here π
