The Diwali festivities in Trafalgar Square have become a must-see event in London’s event calendar. Each year, over the past 15 years, thousands of people come together to celebrate the Festival of Lights. Everyone is welcome and should feel invited to celebrate Diwali on the main square of London.

There are plenty of attractions and activities every year- live music, live stage performances, dance workshops, yoga zone, child-friendly zone, food bazaar and plenty of  stalls with clothes, jewellery as well as information points (for Indian charities, associations etc.)

Following our annual tradition, we participated again 🙂 However, this year was even more special because Mum and Sister have come from India to spend Diwali with us.

In 2016, the actual Diwali celebration will take place on 30th of October, but the London’s one was on 16th of October.
